Service of Remembrance in the grounds of King House in Boyle, Co Roscommon

at 2.00pm on Sunday 8th November 2015

To honour the Irish dead in all conflicts but especially the 126 men of Boyle who gave their lives in the Great War. 

After the service the renowned author Philip Lecane will give a talk on his new book "Beneath a Turkish Sun". 

Philip will be using the diorama of the landings at V Beach in Gallipoli on 25th April 1915 as a back cloth to his talk.  This diorama constructed by the men of Boyle's Men's Shed as been on display all year in King House.  All are welcome.
